Job summary

MEA Energy, a Jackson, TN manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with hands-on CNC programming experience and G-Code proficiency to optimize production and meet customer requirements.

You will develop fixtures, tooling and systems to manufacture parts, drive quality and reliability improvements, and apply Lean/Six Sigma methods to reduce costs while ensuring safety and process discipline.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks
• Demonstrated expertise with Mastercam and/or Solid Cam CNC software
• Extensive machine shop experience
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S

Responsibilities

• You will ensure that production processes meet customer and company requirements.
• Develop fixtures, tooling, and systems to manufacture parts and assemblies
• Drive quality and reliability improvements, while ensuring employee safety and lowering costs.
• Use Solid Cam and Mastercam software to develop CNC programs.
• Develop statistics and analyses for root cause solutions to technical problems
