Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent CNC machining experience acceptable.
• Proficiency in Mastercam or similar software essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in creating CNC programs, troubleshooting, and documenting processes.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills; ability to convert metric units.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC Programs: Use Mastercam to create accurate CNC programs for parts and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and Adjust CNC Programs: Resolve programming challenges in production and make real-time adjustments.
• Collaborate with Engineering: Work with engineers to optimize programs for manufacturability.
• Conduct Simulations: Perform simulations to ensure program accuracy before production.
• Document Programming Processes: Maintain detailed records of revisions, updates, and best practices.
• Train Production Staff: Provide guidance and training on CNC programs, setups, and fixtures.
