Job summary

Parallel Employment Group in partnership with a aerospace manufacturer in Elma, NY are seeking a skilled CNC/Manual Machinist to join our manufacturing team. Under indirect supervision, the Machinist will set up and operate a variety of manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision parts that meet engineering specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on machining experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to use precision measuring equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent education/experience.
• At least 1 year CNC machining experience or CNC cert preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and math.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints to determine tools, speeds, and processes.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines including grinders.
• Operate CNC grinding equipment and manage CNC programs.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and comparators.
• Maintain records, tooling setups, and quality documentation.
