Job summary

Siemens Energy’s Charlotte-based Maintenance Technician role focuses on keeping production machines at peak efficiency. You will dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment while guiding peers on the shop floor when the Maintenance Supervisor is absent.

You’ll read blueprints, perform laser alignments, and calibrations, and support engineers on installations, ramp-ups, and uptime improvements. This hands-on position requires strong mechanical and mechatronic skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in mechanical systems and machine controls.
• Proficient in machine alignment and geometry for multi-axis systems.
• Skilled in laser alignment calibrations and machine calibration services.
• Read blueprints, create sketches, and develop scopes of work.
• Knowledgeable in Siemens 840D, FANUC, and Allen-Bradley controls for troubleshooting.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute maintenance projects, sourcing external contractors when needed.
• Analyze site technical problems and complete repairs focusing on mechatronic systems.
• Execute ramp-up, setup, and start procedures for machine operations.
• Contribute to installation projects and support Industrial Engineers toward goals.
• Document and maintain records of mechatronic, calibration, and maintenance results.
