Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a highly experienced maintenance engineer to troubleshoot CNC machines, PLCs, and process equipment within the Steam Turbine Product Line. You will lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate with managers to optimize equipment performance.

The role requires a strong root cause analysis background, familiarity with AutoCAD or Siemens NX, and a willingness to travel up to 10%. Strong communicational and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with expertise in CNC machines, PLCs, and process equipment.
• Strong understanding of root cause analysis; experience with AutoCAD or Siemens NX drafting preferred.
• Professional proficiency in English; excellent communication and presentation skills; willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10%).
• Employment contingent upon background check and pre-employment tests; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machinery and manufacturing equipment in the Steam Turbine Product Line and lead project teams to enhance equipment capabilities.
• Evaluate maintenance spend to determine repair, replacement, or upgrade options with strategic recommendations.
• Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies for critical assets to improve reliability and reduce risk.
• Coordinate with managers and team members; prepare specifications and purchase requisitions for parts.
• Cultivate vendor relationships for project integration and service repairs; manage existing partnerships.
• Provide knowledge updates and support during off-shifts as needed.
