Job summary

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. in Mayodan, NC is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Maintenance Technician to support daily reliability of CNC machining equipment and manufacturing systems.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, respond to breakdowns, and perform preventive maintenance across multiple CNC controls and PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 18 years old and able to pass background and drug screen.
• Experience in industrial maintenance.
• Experience in a CNC machining or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Understanding of PLC inputs/outputs and sensors, proximity switches, encoders, relays, contactors, solenoids.

Responsibilities

• CNC equipment troubleshooting and repair; respond to machine breakdowns and maintenance requests; identify root causes.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication systems, and machine controls.
• Investigate CNC alarms and machine faults; use diagnostic tools to isolate problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines and related equipment.
• Maintain lubrication, hydraulic, pneumatic, coolant systems; ensure safe operation.
