Advantage Technical is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician in Beverly, MA for a direct-hire role. The position pays $32-$38 per hour and supports a full-time schedule in a precision manufacturing environment.

• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing CNC machines, lathes and mills.
• Strong troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical schematics.
• Experience with motors, relays, contactors, breakers and transformers.
• Knowledge of PLCs and robotics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines, lathes, mills, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and machine drawings.
• Support PLC, robotics, and automation maintenance activities.
• Assist with machine installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules and documentation.
• Maintain inventories of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Help develop annual maintenance budgets for parts and services.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and implement corrective actions.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines, lathes, mills, and related manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, machine drawings, and technical documentation.
• Support PLC, robotics, and automation-related maintenance activities.
• Assist with machine installations, upgrades, and equipment modifications.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance documentation.
• Maintain inventories of critical spare parts and maintenance supplies.

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing CNC machines and industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
• Experience with motors, relays, contactors, breakers, transformers, and industrial electrical systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, and automated production equipment is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize maintenance needs.
