Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician for a direct-hire position in Billerica, MA. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining advanced CNC machinery to ensure peak performance in a clean, modern facility.

The candidate will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, interpret schematics, and work with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls, with a four-day workweek and strong growth potential within a stable manufacturer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and ladder logic.
• Experience working with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machining equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs.
• Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, ladder logic, and machine documentation.
• Repair and service machine components including ball screws, bearings, linear guides, spindles, servo systems, turrets, relays, and machine leveling systems.
• Run CNC machines to verify repairs and machine performance.
• Accurately document maintenance activities and completed repairs.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
