Manpower is recruiting a Machining Maintenance Technician in Decatur, TX to support maintenance and reliability of CNC machinery. The role focuses on advanced CNC maintenance across multiple machine types to maximize uptime and production output.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years of machine tool maintenance experience with Gib and Way Scraping and Turcite installation, plus expertise with Fanuc and Mazatrol CNC systems and PLC programming.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in machine tool maintenance.
- Familiarity with rebuilds utilizing Gib and Way Scraping and Turcite installation.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of ball screws, worm gears, and transmissions.
- Electrical aptitude with understanding of safety circuits, timers, servos, HMIs, etc.
- Experience with CNC systems such as Fanuc, Mazatrol, and knowledge of PLC programming.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced CNC maintenance services to support production goals.
- Handle equipment installation, relocation, upgrades, and repairs.
- Service various types and brands of CNC machines including EDM, Wire saw, laser engraving, and robot loaders.
- Self-diagnose complex machine tool problems and lead repair efforts to ensure maximum machine uptime.
- Coordinate with vendors and schedule preventive maintenance to optimize machine reliability.
