Job summary

Opti Staffing in Sherwood, Oregon is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance professional to keep our site safe, functional, and well-maintained. You will repair, update, and replace equipment and infrastructure as needed, while ensuring the facility remains clean and operational.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on moving equipment, diagnosing mechanical issues on-site, reading blueprints, and proactively addressing issues to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Moving equipment maintenance and repair experience (forklifts, hysters, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING! Facilities/Equipment Maintenance

Location: Sherwood, Oregon

Compensation: $28–$30+ per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Maintain the facility by repairing, updating, or replacing equipment and infrastructure as needed
• Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, operational, and in good working condition
• Perform preventative maintenance on moving equipment(forklifts, hysters etc.)
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on-site
• Address and resolve a wide range of facility-related needs, from minor repairs (e.g., replacing switches or fixtures) to larger projects such as re-striping the parking lot
• Respond proactively to issues as they arise and ensure minimal operational downtime
