Job summary

Round-Peg Solutions (RPS) in Placentia, CA is seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Mechanic for a hands-on, first-shift role in a stabilized aerospace manufacturing environment. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative and reactive maintenance, and minimize downtime on CNC machines such as DMG Mori and Mazak.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience diagnosing drives, boards, controls and machine parameters.
• DMG Mori or Mazak experience is highly desirable.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair CNC machinery.
• Diagnose electrical issues including drives, boards, controls and machine parameters.
• Complete preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose machine issues before escalating to external service providers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Support CNC equipment including DMG Mori and Mazak machines.
• Work with Citizen Swiss equipment and robotic machine-tending systems where applicable.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Support general maintenance requirements when needed.

Pay: $40–$60 per hour, depending on experience

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday

Overtime: Available based on business needs

Are you an experienced CNC Maintenance Mechanic who can confidently diagnose complex machine faults?

Do you have strong electrical troubleshooting experience across drives, boards, controls and machine parameters?

An established aerospace manufacturer in Placentia, CA is looking for an experienced CNC Maintenance Mechanic to join its maintenance team.

This is a highly hands-on position, with approximately 90% of the role focused on CNC machine maintenance, repair and troubleshooting. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, completing preventative and reactive maintenance and helping minimise machine downtime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair CNC machinery.
• Diagnose electrical issues including drives, boards, controls and machine parameters.

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on CNC machine maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Approximately 3–5+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience diagnosing drives, boards, controls and machine parameters.
• DMG Mori experience is highly desirable.
• Mazak, Citizen Swiss and robotic equipment experience is advantageous.
• Aerospace, precision machining or medical device manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC and plumbing knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications are advantageous.
• Collaborative, humble and team-focused approach.
