Job summary

Shively Bros., Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician in Michigan to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on CNC machinery. The role welcomes 2nd or 3rd year technicians with a strong foundation for smaller repairs.

The candidate will replace ball screws, diagnose mechanical/electrical problems, and perform preventative maintenance. The position is on-site with a typical M-F schedule and potential 12-hour days as needed.

Qualifications

• CNC machine maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with CNC drives, sensors, relays, and pump systems.
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC controls.
• Experience with ball screws, spindles, and CNC axis repairs.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Job description

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on CNC maintenance experience who can troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical issues on CNC machinery.

We are also open to 2nd or 3rd year technicians who have a strong foundation and are capable of handling smaller repairs.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Potential for 12-hour days, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Occasional weekend work

Key Responsibilities

• Replace and repair ball screws
