Daimler Truck North America in Tooele, UT is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. You will perform salvage and reclaim, machine new product to specs, read blueprints, and support ISO 9001 quality standards.

This onsite role offers starting pay of $21.85/hr with top pay of $30.84/hr, quarterly gainsharing, and shift differentials. Benefits include 401k with match, paid vacation, holidays, sick/disability leave, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to use basic gauges, hand tools, and a tape measure accurately.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with focus on personal and team development.
• Strong basic math skills (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
• Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Able to perform precise, high-quality work; strong organizational skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform salvage and reclaim processes to core components.
• Machine new products to specifications for internal and external customers.
• Set up, run and read CNC programs using setup sheets.
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, BOMs, and manuals to complete tasks.
• Meet ISO 9001 quality requirements and company standards.
• Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to inspect parts.
