Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Byesville, OH is seeking a CNC Mill and Lathe Operator to set up and run HAAS, Cincinnati, and other CNC machines, machining metal parts to tight tolerances.

The role requires reading gauges, following work instructions, and maintaining quality while meeting production goals. Training to read machine codes and perform set-ups is provided, with a CNC certificate encouraged and 6-month certification window.

Qualifications

• CNC Certificate preferred and to be obtained within 6 months of start.
• Must be able to read and interpret gauges and work instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery to mill, punch, and drill metal parts.
• Load, unload, and inspect parts to meet specifications.
• Read gauges and tool offsets to ensure tolerances.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Train to read machine codes and perform set-ups as needed.
