Job summary

EBARA Pumps Canada Corp. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for the second shift in Adelanto, CA. You will fully set up and run CNC mills, lathes, and related equipment to produce precision components per engineering drawings and specs.

Ideal candidates have extensive setup experience, can troubleshoot machining issues, and maintain quality while working independently in a high-accuracy environment. Overtime may be required and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience performing complete machine setup and operation.
• Experience with editing CNC programming is required.
• Strong experience with CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Horizontal Milling and VBMs.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, offsets and program verification.
• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, horizontal mills and VBMs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and work instructions.
• Verify dimensions with precision measuring tools and maintain production records.
• Produce parts meeting quality standards and customer specs.
• Identify issues and collaborate with teams to resolve them.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist who enjoys both setting up and operating CNC equipment? Do you take pride in producing precision-machined components while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety?

We're looking for a CNC Machinist (Setup & Operator) to join our second shift team. This role is ideal for someone with strong setup experience who is comfortable working independently, troubleshooting machining issues, and producing high-quality parts in a custom manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the complete setup and operation of CNC machine tools to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, and program verification.
• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, horizontal mills, VBM machines, and other CNC equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Produce parts that meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Identify machining or quality issues and work with supervisors, engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve them.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine machine care.
• Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate production records.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, ISO quality procedures, and environmental standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience
• Experience performing complete machine setup and operation
• Experience with editing CNC programming is required
• Strong experience with:
  • CNC Milling
  • CNC Turning
  • Horizontal Milling
  • Vertical Boring Mills (VBM)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
• Strong understanding of precision measuring instruments and metrology
• Ability to select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding
• Knowledge of conventional milling and turning is considered an asset
• Graduate of a technical school or equivalent experience
