Job summary

Mayday Manufacturing Co is hiring a CNC Machinist for 2nd and 3rd shifts to set up and operate multi-axis CNC equipment (lathes, mills, mill-turn machines) producing high-precision parts.

You will work independently or with a team, troubleshoot as needed, and ensure parts meet quality standards using micrometers, CMMs, and other tools. Training and growth opportunities are available in a clean, safe facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; trade school certification preferred.
• 1 year of CNC machining and multi-axis experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce moderate to complex parts.
• Run multiple CNC machines while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Perform program edits, offsets, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, CMMs, comparators).
• Keep machines, tooling, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all safety, quality, and documentation requirements.

$25–$33 per hour

What You’ll Do

Schedule

• Full-time
• 2nd Shift: Monday -Friday 2:45 PM – 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: Sunday -Thursday 10:45 PM – 7:00 AM
