Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a CNC Machinist (Raptor Combustion Devices & Valves) on 2nd shift in Hawthorne, CA. You will operate, set up, and program CNC machines, ensuring high uptime and precision while supporting a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires 1+ year in CNC, with preferred 3+ years, proficiency in milling/turning, and the ability to read blueprints and perform shop math. Physically capable for the job and willing to cross-train teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 1+ years of experience in CNC machining.
• 3+ years of experience operating CNC machinery.
• Familiarity with high efficiency milling and turning.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up and program CNC machines to meet rate targets.
• Perform precision set-ups on DMG, Nigata, Heller assets.
• Manage cutting tools loaded and measured for upcoming programs.
• Deburr hardware on/off machine to assure quality.
