Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience with mills or lathes.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience programming CNC machines preferred.
• Proficient with precision measuring instrumentation.
• Solid understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling and processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot machining problems independently.
• Capable of working both independently and in a production team.

Job description

We are hiring experienced CNC Machinists and CNC Programmers for a manufacturing operation in Houston, TX.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience operating and programming CNC mills and/or CNC lathes and be comfortable setting up, programming, operating, and inspecting parts produced on CNC equipment.

This is an immediate-hire opportunity for experienced machinists who can contribute with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or CNC lathes
• Program and edit CNC machines as required
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools
• Set work offsets, tool offsets, and machine parameters
• Perform machine setups and make necessary adjustments
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Maintain required tolerances and quality standards
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
• Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
• Follow all safety and production procedures

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience
• Strong experience with CNC mills and/or lathes

Compensation & Benefits
