Merrimac Tool Company in Amesbury, MA, has an immediate opening for a CNC Machinist/Programmer. You will own parts from start to finish, selecting tooling, running first articles, inspecting, and making adjustments to meet tolerances.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years of CNC milling experience (including 4-axis), and proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Mastercam experience is a plus in ISO 9001 environments.

• 3 years minimum experience.

Responsabilités

• Own parts from start to finish: select tooling, run first article, inspect, and adjust to hold tolerances.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Select correct programs, set up tools, prove out runs for new and repeat jobs.
• Develop fixtures and work-holding for machining unique components.
• Produce adequate volume of work efficiently and on time.
• Multitasking and deburring.
• Update records, basic machine maintenance, troubleshoot production issues.
