Job summary

Midé Technology in Massachusetts seeks a seasoned CNC machinist to program, set up and operate CNC mills and lathes across a range of materials. You will load fixtures, adjust feeds/speeds, and edit G-code to ensure parts are produced accurately with minimal tool wear.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of CNC experience, Haas/Fanuc control exposure, Mastercam, and the ability to read complex drawings. The role offers a flexible schedule, strong benefits, and opportunities to mentor others while

Qualifications

• 10+ years CNC mill/lathe experience.
• MasterCam experience (minimum 3 years)
• Haas/Fanuc i Series control experience
• Read and interpret drawings and manuals; strong geometry/maths
• US Citizen and able to pass background check; valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Program setup and operate CNC mills and lathes safely and competently.
• Prepare jobs for prototypes, first article and small production runs.
• Source material and tooling from approved vendors; schedule machine repairs as needed.
• Mentor technicians and engineers on manufacturing best practices.
• Read drawings/MB​D files and ensure parts match customer requirements.
• Maintain shop safety, order, and cleanliness; participate in DFMs.
