Job summary

MillPro Metal Works, LLC in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a CNC Machinist/Programmer to join a veteran-owned precision shop specializing in aerospace and defense parts. The role encompasses programming, setup, operation, inspection and shipment of tight-tolerance components.

You will work with Haas lathes and 5-axis mills, optimize toolpaths in Fusion 360, and design fixtures for complex parts while maintaining tight tolerances and supporting AS9102 FAIRs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC programming and operation for lathes and 5-axis mills.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T expertise.
• Experience with titanium, Inconel or hard-to-machine materials.
• Proficiency with toolpath optimization and setup.
• ITAR-related work requires U.S. Person status.

Responsibilities

• Program CAD/CAM, set up and run Haas lathes and 5-axis mills from print to finished part.
• Write and optimize Fusion 360 toolpaths, including multi-axis and live tooling.
• Design workholding/fixtures for complex aerospace parts.
• Maintain tight tolerances on aluminum, stainless, titanium and alloys.
• Perform first-article and in-process inspection; support AS9102 FAIRs and GD&T.
• Edit G-code at the control; troubleshoot programs and setups.
• Improve cycle times, tool life and processes; train junior machinists.
