Velocity Restorations LLC seeks a skilled Machinist/Programmer to support in-house machining for automotive restoration projects. You will program, set up, and operate a range of machines, emphasizing precision and craftsmanship on both one-off and production components.

The ideal candidate has strong CAD/CAM and G-code skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with engineers and production teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM programming and machining strategies.
• Strong command of G-code, M-code, and advanced machining techniques.
• Ability to lead a hands-on machining and programming team.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-department communication.
• High attention to detail, craftsmanship, and precision.
• Experience with aluminum, steel, plastics, and composites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to meet part specs.
• Program, set up, and operate 5-axis CNCs, lathes, routers, lasers, and 3D printers.
• Perform complex setup and machining with emphasis on quality and efficiency.
• Manufacture one-off and production components for vehicle builds and restorations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, blueprints, and specs.
