AtWork Personnel is seeking a CNC Programmer-Machinist to join a fast-paced shop in Ohio. You will develop, write, and prove out CNC programs to machine complex geometry on multi-axis centers, ensuring close tolerances and efficiency.

The role requires setting up mills/lathes, editing programs, and collaborating with engineering on new product developments. Proficiency with CAD/CAM, G/M code, and 5-axis controls is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Associate or technical school degree in CNC programming.
• 5+ years equivalent combination of education and experience in CNC programming.
• 2+ years of experience in CNC programming.
• Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software for CNC programming.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings.
• Skilled in G and M code editing, multi-axis functions, and multiple brand controllers.
• Experience with MS Office.

Aufgaben

• Develop, write, and prove out CNC programs that machine complex geometry on multi-axis machining centers.
• Set up and operate numerically controlled machines as needed.
• Create/Modify tooling and fixtures.
• Recommend and set up tools, fixtures and programs for new jobs; improve current tools as needed.
• Edit programs to improve efficiency or adapt to production changes.
• Maintain detailed records of CNC programs, modifications, and tooling used for each operation.
• Assist in training machinists on program usage and provide technical support.
• Work with engineering and production on new product developments or changes.
• Troubleshoot DNC system issues and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
