Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years CNC programming experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Associates Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, CNC Programming or equivalent preferred or equivalent experience; High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to write and edit G Code fluently through Mastercam for both Mill and Lathe equipment.
• Knowledge of Solid Works.
• Strong listening and teamwork skills are important.
• Critical thinking skills with logic and reasoning to troubleshoot and solve problems is required.

Responsibilities

• Create and run CNC programs for mills and lathes, primarily using G-code in Mastercam.
• Program robots and update programs as part of the ECR process.
• Coordinate with tool crib to ensure tooling is available and stocked.
• Improve cycle time efficiency through tooling and parameters optimization.
• Generate accurate tool lists and setup sheets with mounting instructions and part loading details.
• Review Cimco Import Queue and setup sheets for changes and approve when appropriate.
• Suggest fixture improvements to enhance holding/loading efficiency.
• Champion continuous improvement projects as directed by Management.
• Oversee tool testing activities and document results.
