Job summary

GM Performance Power Units in Concord, NC is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for an onsite role. You will develop and optimize programs for high-precision components using CAM software and CNC technologies in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment.

The position requires 5+ years in manufacturing with CAD/CAM expertise and proficiency with Fanuc/Siemens controls, plus meticulous documentation and collaboration with engineering and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Certificate in machine shop technology or machine tool technology/machinist.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or metal-cutting industry.
• Strong CAD/CAM experience with NX and/or Mastercam preferred.
• Recent experience with Fanuc, Siemens, and other CNC controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC equipment to manufacture components to high quality standards.
• Create tool lists, in-process docs, and setup sheets for technicians.
• Collaborate with quality team to adjust machines to spec.
• Maintain post and tool database modification records.
