Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings and CAD models to determine tooling and tolerances.
• Ability to set up CNC machines and select appropriate speeds and feeds.
• Capability to perform FAI and in-process inspections for quality assurance.
• Proven troubleshooting skills to minimize downtime and optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Program (if required), set up, and operate CNC machines per drawings and specs.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and docs to plan machining operations.
• Select tooling, speeds, and feeds for precision and efficiency.
• Perform first article inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Troubleshoot tooling or setup issues to minimize downtime.
• Adjust machine settings and offsets to maintain tight tolerances.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams for improvements.
• Document setup procedures, dimensions, and tool usage for repeatability.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on CNC machines.
