Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3–5 years CNC Machinist experience preferred.
• Experience in CNC machine setup, operation and programming for complex parts with tight tolerances.
• Familiarity with aerospace materials and their machining requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture components per engineering drawings.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T to determine operations and tooling.
• Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for precision machining.
• Perform first article inspections and in-process checks to meet specs.
• Troubleshoot tooling or setup issues to minimize downtime and maintain quality.
• Document setups, part dimensions, and tool usage for repeatability and traceability.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CNC machines.
