Bosch Rexroth in the United States (Pineville, NC) seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to produce machined components per schedule, setting up CNC centers, and maintaining fixtures and tooling. You will verify dimensions, adjust speed/feeds, read prints, and collaborate with designers, production and QA to resolve machining challenges.

The role requires 2nd shift availability, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and certification to operate overhead cranes.

Qualifications

• High School/Trade/technical school graduate with 3 years setup experience on CNC Horizontal/Vertical.
• Extensive knowledge of precision tools including verniers, thread gauges, bore gauges, micrometers, tooling fixtures and calipers.
• Ability to verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to setup a CNC center for production including fixture setup and prove-out of first piece along with program.
• Knowledge of CNC programming including G & M code functions and program-editing at the machine.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and cover 1st/2nd as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret programs, prints and coordination sheets.
• Ability to verify correct cutting speeds and feeds for tooling and materials.
• Ability to adapt to schedule changes and maintain priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Able to move up to 50 pounds and certified to run an overhead crane.

Responsabilités

• Produce machined components according to production schedule.
• Study specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments and materials on machines.
• Evaluate machining parameters for speed, feed, coolant and angle; communicate results.
• Verify conformance of finished parts to specs.
• Collaborate with designers, production, programmers and QA to resolve issues.
• Participate in TPM activities and provide feedback to related areas.
• Cross-train on other functions within the team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area per 5S.
