Job summary

John Deere in Coffeyville, KS is seeking a CNC Machinist to machine parts on CNC tools in a safety-first, production-focused environment. You will read blueprints, set up machines, monitor quality, and assist teammates to maintain efficiency.

Starting pay is $29.00 per hour. Eligible candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED or NCRC, and CNC certification or 6 months CNC experience, with willingness to work any shift and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED or NCRC
• At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
• CNC certification or 6 months CNC machining experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform repetitive tasks
• Willingness to work any shift and overtime, including weekends

Responsibilities

• Turn, drill, bore, and mill parts to specification using CNC tools
• Operate CNC machines to complete production operations
• Read and follow work instructions and procedures
• Record data and maintain quality/maintenance records
• Check results against specifications and correct as needed
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Operate material handling equipment and forklifts
• Maintain and clean tooling and equipment
• Support team members and maintain a clean work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
