Job summary

John Deere seeks a CNC Machinist to operate CNC machine tools in a production setting focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Responsibilities include turning, drilling, boring, and milling parts, reading work instructions, and maintaining equipment to specifications.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, an NCRC, or 3 years of manufacturing experience, plus CNC certification or at least 6 months of CNC machining exposure.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED, NCRC, or 3 years manufacturing experience.
• CNC certification or 6+ months CNC machining experience in production.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Turn, drill, bore, and/or mill parts to specification on CNC machines.
• Operate CNC machines to complete operations and record data.
• Read work instructions and follow procedures for quality control.
• Maintain tools and equipment, lubricate and clean as required.
• Support team members and keep the work area safe and organized.
