John Deere Dubuque is seeking a Machine Hand / Tool Room Machinist in Dubuque, IA. You will set up and operate lathes, mills, and horizontal boring machines to produce non-repetitive parts with close tolerances in a safety-focused production environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of manufacturing experience, CNC machining exposure, and the ability to read drawings and use precision measuring tools. The role offers competitive pay, benefits, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with CNC machining and tool room operations.
• Ability to read drawings, prints and 3D models.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, horizontal boring machines.
• Perform machining operations with close tolerances on non-repetitive parts.
• Plan work sequence, select tools, and calculate feeds and speeds.
• Inspect own work for conformance to prints and specs.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; support team with minimal supervision.
