John Deere Cylinder Works in Moline, IL is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate CNC machines performing turning, drilling, boring, and milling in a safety-focused production environment. You will read blueprints, set up tooling, verify tolerances, and document quality data.

Qualified candidates have a CNC certification or equivalent experience, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required; strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have CNC certification (or equivalent) or at least 6 months CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of GD&T as it pertains to machined parts.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and other technical specifications.
• Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including standing, lifting, and repetitive actions.
• Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).

Responsabilités

• Turn, drill, bore, and/mill parts to specification using CNC machining tools and processes.
• Operate one or more CNC machines to complete an operation.
• Read and interpret work instructions and follow procedures.
• Record data and keep records for quality and maintenance.
• Check results for conformance to specifications and make necessary corrections.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to understand requirements for basic parts.
• Move material and equipment using forklifts and industrial trucks.
• Use CNC tools and measuring instruments for fabrication.
• Lubricate, check, and clean work equipment and tooling.
• Assist and support other team members.
• Clean work area and perform other duties inherent to the job.
