KELTEC is hiring a CNC Machinist at our West Chicago, IL facility. The role requires hands-on CNC milling and turning, reading prints to tight tolerances, and performing fixture fabrication with minimal supervision.

You will safely operate mills/lathe, manual equipment, and laser systems, while maintaining tooling, inventory, and shop cleanliness. Overtime and weekend work may be required; strong teamwork is essential.

Qualificações

• Experience operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tolerance notes.
• Willingness to learn and perform additional duties.

Responsabilidades

• Safely program, set up, and operate CNC mills/lathe.
• Set up manual mills/lathes, drill press, saws, and laser systems.
• Read blueprints for product specifications and tolerances.
• Assemble sub-assemblies and fixtures per drawings/manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance and risk mitigation on shop equipment.
• Rebuild equipment and fabricate/repair parts as needed.
• Manage tooling, raw material inventory, and shop cleanliness.
