Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist I to produce precision components by operating CNC equipment in a modern manufacturing environment. You will follow drawings and work instructions, monitor quality, and maintain records to support Lean and GMP practices.

The role emphasizes safe operation, 5S housekeeping, timely production, and adherence to continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration with team members and supervisors is essential to meet productivity targets.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Change dull tooling and/or make minor offsets and adjustments as needed for tooling wear.
• Ensure product quality is achieved by working to operator owned quality (OOQ) standards including inspection reports.
• Perform routine maintenance as per daily machine checklist and adhere to PM schedule.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping standards within work area and keep records up to date.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards as required.
• Identify and report Safety, Health & Environmental issues and ensure safe working practices.
• Record all activities in a timely manner on the job tracking system.
