KELTEC Technolab Inc. in West Chicago, IL seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes, reading prints and fixtures to print. The role emphasizes safety, precision, and teamwork in a fast-paced shop environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of CNC experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to read drawings. CAM software familiarity and willingness to work overtime are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC machinist experience
• High School degree or equivalent
• Ability to read/dinterpret drawings
• Willing to learn and take on additional duties

Responsabilités

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes safely
• Set up manual mills/lathes, drill press, saws, and laser systems
• Read blueprints for product specs (dimensions and tolerances)
• Assemble sub-assemblies and fixtures per drawings and manuals
• Perform preventive maintenance and risk mitigation on equipment
• Rebuild equipment and fabricate/repair parts as needed
• Manage tooling, raw material inventory, and shop cleanliness
• Perform other duties as assigned
