Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist I to produce precision parts by operating CNC equipment and adhering to quality and safety standards. You will document processes, maintain tooling and machines, and work within Tecomet's continuous improvement culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a production environment (E/D).
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Math and English desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines within tolerances following work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Change dull tooling, and/or make minor offsets and adjustments for tooling wear.
• Ensure product quality by following OOQ standards and inspecting reports.
• Perform routine maintenance per daily machine checklist and adhere to PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain safe working practices and report Safety/Health & Environmental issues.
• Achieve productivity targets and identify ways to improve productivity.
• Record all activities in the job tracking system.
• Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.
• Identify and support manufacturing issues with Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in the work area.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
