Job summary

ONWARD SEARCH is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for the Day Shift to support an on-site manufacturing team. You will configure, set up, and operate advanced CNC machinery to produce precision parts across diverse materials.

The role requires strong CNC control experience and the ability to read complex specifications. Responsibilities include writing and adjusting CNC programs, selecting tooling, measuring parts with GD&T, and ensuring parts meet specs.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience working with CNC machines and controls.
• Proficiency in programming, editing, and troubleshooting CNC programs.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, measurement, and inspection techniques.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED is required; physical and safety assessments must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Configure and operate CNC machines following technical specifications and safety protocols.
• Write, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC programs to ensure accurate manufacturing.
• Select and install appropriate tooling for various machining tasks.
• Measure and inspect parts to confirm compliance with specifications.
• Plan and execute machining operations across diverse materials and complex components.
