You will set up, program, and operate CNC VTL, horizontal and vertical mills, and lathes, reading blueprints and specifications to ensure production meets quality standards.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and plans to determine dimensions.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and tolerances.
• Careful measurement and precision required for progressive machining.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts following blueprints and written specifications.
• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC tools with close tolerances.
• Select and align fixtures, tools, and materials for machining.
• Maintain and inspect cutting tools for sharpness and usability.
• Program controls to regulate speed, feed, coolant, and depth.
• Observe operations and adjust as needed for quality.
• Basic CNC programming and tool maintenance.
• Keep machine and tools clean and ready for production.
• Edit CNC programs to optimize process performance.
