Job summary

AXILLON AEROSPACE is seeking a CNC Production Machine Operator to perform standardized machining operations and provide technical support to production teams. The role involves setting up complex equipment, testing and calibrating assemblies, and following engineering drawings with minimal supervision.

You will install, maintain and operate various machining tools including lathes, mills, and drill presses, diagnose problems, and replace worn parts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up complex production equipment and conduct tests, analyses and calibrates assemblies in accordance with company policy and safety procedures.
• Installs, maintains, repairs, rebuilds and operates lathes, milling machines, drill presses, etc.
• Diagnoses problems, disassembles, determines extent of repair necessary or feasible, repairs, refits or replaces worn or defective parts and reassembles.
• Works to specifications from sketches, blueprints, engineering drawings and manuals with little supervision.
