Job summary

Axillon Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Programmer/Machinist to perform high-precision machining in a self-sufficient, autonomous environment. The role focuses on fabricating and repairing complex parts, developing tooling, and producing CNC programs for Lathe and Mill operations.

Collaboration with QA and engineers is essential. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in precision machining, strong CNC programming skills (MasterCam), and aerospace industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of precision machining experience.
• CNC programming: 5+ years with MasterCam experience; Vericut is a plus.
• 5-axis programming experience preferred; aerospace industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, alter or repair complex parts from blueprints with extreme tolerances.
• Design and fabricate tooling/fixtures for complex operations.
• Plan and perform machining on lathe and mill via CNC; create CNC programs.
• Develop setup instructions for lathes and mills; troubleshoot with QA and engineers.
