Qualifications

• Proficiency in Gibbs CAM 2024 with at least 5 years’ experience.
• Must read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
• 5 years manual and CNC machining in high-tech manufacturing, including setting up machine tools, lathes, and milling machines.
• Own tools and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Program prototype or production parts.
• Maintain tools and machines for optimum performance.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using precision instruments.
• Set up fixtures, tools, and materials for machining.
• Monitor machining processes and ensure quality.
• Work from drawings and work orders.
• Machine parts to specifications using lathes and milling machines.
• Measure and inspect completed parts for defects and conformance.
• Enter CNC commands and manage control media.
• Repair or modify parts and tooling per blueprints/ECN/ECO.
• Other duties as assigned.
