Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a CNC Machinist for our Milwaukie, Oregon facility. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce parts with tight tolerances, evaluate tool wear, and verify dimensions against blueprints.

This role requires strong math skills and familiarity with Haas/Okuma controls, and it is based on the 3rd shift onsite. We expect a High School diploma and at least two years of CNC experience; safety, quality, and Lean practices guide daily work.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate; trade school experience a plus.
• Minimum 2 years CNC machine operating experience.
• Knowledge of hand tools and shop math; Haas/Okuma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and alter CNC mills and lathes.
• Evaluate tool wear, make offsets, and load/unload parts.
• Check product specs and complete production documentation.
• Follow ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 requirements.
• Tear down setups and return tooling/fixtures to design locations.
• Perform secondary operations and light maintenance.
• Adhere to 5S+1 and participate in LEAN activities.
