Job summary

Epiroc in Two Harbors, MN is hiring a CNC Machinist on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–1:30 AM). The role operates multi-axis CNC mills and lathes to produce complex parts, with tooling selection and program support. You will verify dimensions, adjust offsets, and maintain safety and 5S standards on shift.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with CNC milling/turning, and familiarity with Fanuc controls. The position offers a sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 2-year diploma is required.
• Experience with machined parts and CNC Milling/Turning Equipment.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls, feeds, speeds, G/M codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers and basic Windows applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-axis CNC Mills and Lathes to manufacture parts.
• Check tool wear, make offsets, and load/unload parts.
• Load materials, replace cutting tools, and follow setup procedures.
• Ensure product specs and document production.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure manufacturability.
• Maintain safety and 5S in the work area.
• Close shop orders and adhere to schedules.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Perform daily autonomous maintenance on equipment.
