Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a CNC Programmer for the Milwaukie, OR facility. You will develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for multi-axis mills and lathes, collaborating with engineers and shop leads to ensure safe, efficient production and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of CNC programming in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CAM software such as MasterCAM, Fusion 360, Esprit, NX, SmartCAM (MasterCAM preferred).

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis mills, lathes, and other CNC equipment.
• Develop machining strategies to improve cycle times, tool life, and product quality.
• Select tools, fixtures, and machining parameters and verify program accuracy by simulation and on-machine tests.
• Maintain setup sheets, tooling lists, and process documentation and ensure DFM is applied.
• Troubleshoot programming issues and support first-article inspections and launches.
