Job summary

Tecton Industries Inc is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up, edit, operate and monitor a variety of CNC machines. You will apply SPC methods to improve parts quality and ensure accuracy of outputs in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, following instructions, documenting measurements, and maintaining equipment and work area while adhering to safety and ISO practices. On-site position in Spencer, IA with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Able to load parts, prove out CNC programs, operate controls, set offsets, perform edits, deburr and inspect parts.
• Study drawings, manuals, specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Detect and report machine malfunctions and adjust within control limits.
• Operate forklift or lifting devices for movement of parts.

Responsibilities

• Utilize SPC methods to produce and improve parts.
• Understand blueprint specifications.
• Follow work instructions.
• Document dimensional information accurately.
• Document daily production levels accurately.
• Complete all necessary documentation promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
