ERL Inc. in New Albany, Indiana, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate multi-axis milling centers (3, 4, 5 axes). You will perform part set-ups on programmed parts, change tools, reset offsets, and conduct in-process inspection.

You will report discrepancies and support continuous improvement on manufacturing runs. The role requires reading drawings with geometric tolerances, using precision instruments, and coordinating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines.
• Strong use of precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret tolerances.
• Knowledge of tooling, holders, and fixtures used on machines.
• Ability to train others in measurement and tooling.

Responsabilités

• Load parts, operate controls, set offsets and inspect parts.
• Study drawings to determine tolerances and sequence of operations.
• Measure and mark dimensions as a guide for machining.
• Detect malfunctions and adjust machines to maintain quality.
• Keep workspace clean and perform basic maintenance.
