Job summary

Novolex in Cedar Rapids is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate Mills, perform milling, drilling, and precision machining to exact specifications. You will assemble tools, secure pieces and guide the machine to meet tolerances using precision gauges.

The role offers a Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm shift in a climate-controlled environment, with pay progression from $28.94 up to $30.88 over time. Novolex provides competitive benefits, training, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A.A.S. CNC Machining Technology or 3–5 years CNC machining experience.
• WorkKeys Silver Certification or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Mills to perform milling, drilling, and machining per specs.
• Assemble cutting tools and secure work pieces; provide directions to machine.
• Observe operations and verify accuracy with precision tools.
