Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Grand Island is recruiting a Machinist to join the Production Department supporting Operations and Manufacturing teams. The role involves independently operating, adjusting and troubleshooting CNC and manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality parts safely and efficiently while reading blueprints and GD&T specifications.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of machine operating experience, can program CNC machines from drawings, and is comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, with

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of machine operating experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to program CNC machines from drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and thread dimensions.
• Experience with reading GD&T and blueprints.
• Lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC and manufacturing equipment.
• Set up machines for production requirements and perform preventative maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and manufacturing documents.
• Mentor and train machine operators while assisting supervisors with daily production workflow.
• Monitor production, maintain documentation, and report safety/quality concerns.
