Job summary

ManpowerGroup is assisting a Grand Island-based manufacturing and pipe fabrication company in finding a skilled Machinist. You will operate CNC and manufacturing equipment, read blueprints, and support the production team to ensure safe, high-quality output.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of machine operating experience, the ability to program CNC machines from drawings, and a solid understanding of machining processes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of machine operating experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to program CNC machines from drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC and manufacturing equipment.
• Set up machines for production and perform preventative maintenance.
• Read blueprints and GD&T to produce parts to quality standards.
• Mentor and train machine operators and support daily production workflow.
• Monitor processes, document outcomes, and report safety/quality concerns.
