Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Machinist in Grand Island, NE to join the Production Department supporting Operations and Manufacturing teams. The candidate will operate CNC equipment, read blueprints, and mentor others to maintain safety and quality standards.

Competitive hourly pay of $23.00–$25.00, with benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for advancement within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years machine operating experience.
• Ability to program CNC machines from drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and equipment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, overtime/alternate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC and manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products safely and efficiently.
• Set up machines for production requirements and perform preventative maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and manufacturing documents to produce parts to quality standards.
• Mentor and train machine operators while assisting supervisors with daily production workflow and quality initiatives.
• Monitor production processes, maintain accurate documentation, and report safety and quality concerns.
